What is engine: engine is a mechanical device which converts the chemical energy of fuel into the mechanical energy by burning the fuel in presence of air(oxygen)
This mechanical energy is further used by power train to drive the vehicle

COMPONENT'S OF ENGINE

There are various components used in   Engine
And there's combined work make more power output


That's are :----

  ENGINE BLOCK   engine block is made of iron or aluminum alloy by pouring molten mental into mould
     It is houses if support the engine liner, piston connecting rod and crankshaft

PISTON।     Piston is a key component of the engine this is responsible to convert to fuels blast energy into reciprocating energy

CONNECTING ROD   connecting rod connect piston with the crankshaft and transfer power from piston to crankshaft

CRANKSHAFT this component is responsible to convert reciprocating motion into rotary motion
Because in this connecting rods one end is attached

CAMSHAFT camshaft is responsible to operate the inlet and outlet valve
This is attached with crankshaft with belt or chain 
It  is located at the top of cylinder head it may be
SOHC
DOHC

OIL PANoil pan is used as a reservoir
This is bottom most part of the engine
It contain the oil/lubricants

ENGINE HEAD this is top most part of the engine where it houses inlet  outlet valve valves spring cam and injectors

VALVES
Valves have two very important function
INTAKE
EXHAUST

VALVE SPRING AND TAPET
valves spring is fitted on the top of the valve this is used to retain the original position in valve after pushed by tapet

SPARK PLUG
Spark plug are used to ignite the fuel to burning it use the electric supply to generate the spark

TIMING CHAIN
Timing chain is responsible to operate the valve opening and closing time at right time

PISTON RING

Piston rings are used to prevent the compression leakages occurred during the compression stroke
And also use to lift the lube to wash out and cool down the cylinder wall

GASKETS
Gasket prevent the leakages of gas and also don't allow to mix the coolant and water to each  other this is leakproof

FLY WHEEL
Flywheels are connected to one end of the crankshaft
It store the energy during power Stroke and release during another dead stroke
