There are several automobile components like:

 engine is that part which converts the chemical energy of fuel into mechanical energy

  battery provides power to start the engine and other electric units

  transmission is very useful part that delivers the power comming from engine at required amount by using gear mechanism

catalytic converter are used to change the toxic exhaust gas into non toxic

 mufflers are used to decrease the noise of exhaust gas

 exhaust pipes are outlet pipe which carries out the brunt gases from the engine

 brakes are very important component which is use to deacelerate or stop the vehicle

shock absorber are the equipment that absorb the unwanted vibration while driving the vehicle
