All technology of a headlights you must know

What is headlight what are the types of headlight
    And details of headlight

    Headlight technology

    What is headlight:-

Headlight is a lighting device which is installed at the front of the vehicle and it's main function is to illuminate the road during the night that ease the driver to drive the vehicle.

headlight is the term for device that  produce and distribute the light beam.

Headlamp performance has continuosly improved throughout the automobile invention.

Headlight are mainly classified into 3 categories that's are:-
    1 Halogen type headlight
    2 Xenon/HID type headlight
    3 LED type headlight

Now we will discuss about these headlight in brief

    Halogen type headlight:-
Halogen type headlight are the evaluated type of light bulb made by using tungsten filament with adding halogen gas to increase the effectiveness of light

And prevent the vaporization of tungsten filament
    And allow the longer lifecycle
While in normal bulb we use argan gas

    Xenon headlight bulbs
Xenon is a gas – it’s used in HID (high intensity discharge) lights. These headlights are different from conventional lights (halogen bulbs) and not fitted into normal headlight socket.

HID stands for High Intensity Discharge. It is often referred to as a xenon light, because of xenon gas that the bulb contains inside.
It different to both halogen and LEDs in that the source of  light in this system an electric arc that takes place between two tungsten electrodes.

HID lights offer upto 90% better light  than halogen bulbs, that's allowing driver to see the road obstacles ahead much clearer.
In three steps lighting are produced in this bulb.

first stage, ignition takes place, where xenon actually comes into role.

In second stage massive electrical charge is sent into the bulb from the ballast.
This supercharge the gas and increases the temperature at  significant level.

Next, metallic salts in the bulb vaporize, to help thebconnecting two electrodes in the bulb. and finally, the ballast begins supplying constant voltage to create a stable arc between the electrodes and this spark illuminate and provides lighting

    LED Headlight Bulb

LED stands for light-emitting diode.  LEDs don’t have any tear and wear parts.
    An LED is a semi-conductor.
In this  movement of electrons generates light spark

In semi-conductor(LEDs ), by adjusting the frequency of the emitted light, we can change its color of the light of headlight.

Low power consumption make them perfect for such applications. Additionally, using low current , they  generate less heat.

Lexus wad the first manufacturer to use LEDs in his headlights.

LEDs are significantly more expensive, and It also requires the some changes in your car. Both options require additional cast and setting

The main reason for this is that LEDs operate at a lower voltage than others headlights and brighter light beam

LED & HID are Both Superior to Halogen Headlights
In this time everyone accepts that HID and LED bulbs are too brighter than halogen bulb. But, due to a high price  manufacturers are still installing halogen bulbs in the majority of new cars but in these day manufacturers are installing LEDs headlight into there car. but HID and LED technology for headlights is only available on more expensive vehicles, or as an extra cost

And other several important differences in these headlights are  light produced by them (LEDs, xenon and halogen headlights)
LEDs have the coolest color temperature at around 6,000 Kelvin, which makes them appear whiter than daylight. Xenon headlights produce  around 4,500 K, while halogens round are around  3,200 K with yellow light beam

Conclusion: LEDs are Superior to HIDs
If you’re trying to decide between a LED or HID conversion kit for your vehicle, we suggest going with LEDs. New developments in LED technology have made them both affordable and superior sources of light for your vehicle.

Both LEDs and xenon provide a large pattern of light on the roadside  where as halogens offer a small and poor yellow light directly.
