What is air induction system:-
Atmospheric air contains Oxygen content in it and this oxygen helps in burning of fuel inside the cylinder when needed.
The channel through which air/fuel mixture enter in the cylinder is called air induction system
It consists various of part mechanical or electrical to allow the air enters into the cylinder
Each component has it unique function

AIR FILTER/CLEANER:-
According to the name it's main purpose is to clean the entering air to the cylinder
It cleans the dusty and emery particles thats leads to erosion

RESONATOR:-
This is air filter housing it's main function is to reduce the noise caused by running air
AIR FLOW METER:-
It ensures the measurement of the volume of air entering into the cylinder
This air flow meter is placed in series with the air filter
It is consist a measuring plate with is spring loaded
When plate change its position a electric signal sent to the ECU by the potentiometer

THROTTLE BODY:-
The throttle body consists of the throttle valve, the idler air by pass circuit throttle position sensor
Throttle valve is mechanically controlled via a cabel from accelerator padel

AIR VALVE
The air valve is also know as an idle valve is connected in parallel with the throttle valve and only functioning when the engine is idling

AIR INTAKE CHAMBER AND MANIFOLD
An air intake chamber is a large metal/plastic body that is connected between the throttle body and manifolds runner
The manifolds runner are long tubular pipes connecting between the air chamber and cylinder head to improve air velocity at the intake valve

WORKING OF AIR INDUCTION SYSTEM
•When the engine ignite driver press accelerator pedal the throttle valve is opened via an cable or driven by wire mechanism

•During idling the throttle valve is closed as a result of accelerator pedal not being pressed hence calibrated amount of air by pass the throttle valve and enters the engine cylinder to facilitate burning
